The SloWaters demonstration site at Ballygow, Co. Wexford will feature in a new international documentary on climate resilience and adaptation.
Yesterday the project PI Dr. Mary Bourke spoke with the Earth Horizons production team and Philip Boucher-Hayes on how effective Nature-base solutions are for adapting to floods and water quality issues.
Farmer (Patrick Gleeson) told the team that measures installed on the farm had no impact on the land or its productivity; and yet were a good way farmers could help local communities to suffer less during floods.
