Biography
Prior to joining TCD, I worked for Esri Ireland as a GIS technician. I completed my masters in GIS & Cultural Heritage at Queen’s University Belfast (QUB) in 2017. My MSc dissertation focused on the social responses to arterial drainage of the River Clare in the West of Ireland.
I am from Co Cavan and my interest in flooding developed during my undergraduate degree in Geography and Archaeology at University College Dublin (UCD) in 2016.
At present I am undertaking a PhD at Trinity College Dublin (TCD) in conjunction with the Office of Public Works. The project is ‘The ecosystem services of Ireland’s forests for flood protection and water quality‘ and is funded by the OPW and the IRC
