Biography
I am a physical geographer and environmental scientist from Northern Germany. My interest in human-nature relationships evolved after I volunteered for a environmental department in Hamburg.
This experience gave me insights into how people interact with their natural environment. The relationship between humans and nature is inseparable – but subject to changes into positive or negative impacts. How we live with our environment and how we can improve our lives and that of nature has fascinated me ever since.
I studied Geography in my undergraduate degree with the focus on soil conservation and landscape ecology. From there, I continued my master’s program in Environmental Management with the focus on hydrological challenges in rural areas in Northern Germany and South-East Asia.
